Time for one part to go from in to out is 1 minute – 8 minutes. </li></ul> <p>Goes in one side and out the other</p> <ul><li>Cob tumble is half distance – 10’ of the drum about. Parts are in the cob for 10’ and then it drops through little holes in the drum into the outer drum. The outer drum spins and the veins push the cob back to the beginning of the primary drum and into the primary for reuse. </li><li>Final 10’ of the drum is the decob area. </li><li>Cob returns to front with outside drum</li><li>Very little cob comes out with parts. He said with closed bottom long thin drawn parts they would see 1 grain of cob / 100-1,000 parts. </li><li>Infrared heaters under the secondary drum. They beam heat to the bottom of the cob drum and it warms the cob and the cob evaporates the water. </li><li>The machine contains the heat and you can set the amount of heat you want in it. Seller said they ran it without heat regularly. </li><li>7 bags of 45 pound bags of cob to charge it up. 1.5 cuft/bag. </li></ul> <p></p> <ul><li>Loading – 2.5 cuft vibratory hopper would feed parts into the cob dryer. Have a barrel tipper tip barrels into the hopper. Vibratory hopper has a speed pot on it and you can adjust the speed at which it dispenses. And it has a trap door that you can adjust as well. </li></ul> <p></p> <ul><li>Cycle time: this machine is a continuous pass machine. It will run as many parts through as you want but you have to feed them in with the vibratory feeder. It’s not like the batch style machine where you load it up, run it for a cycle and then reverse it and unload it. You set the process by feeding in as fast as you want and how fast your spin the drum. </li></ul> <p></p> <ul><li>Seeing it run – there is the problem. We just disconnected it and moved it last week. You can come inspect it for sure but it’s in a warehouse with no power to it. But I can assure you it runs and the seller has retained the former operator and they are who I am talking with. </li></ul> <p></p> <ul><li>It is in good working order. I saw it running numerous times over the years and just before we rigged it out . It will wire up and run. Not much to these. </li></ul> <!--EndFragment-->
